AHHH ALSO I hated when they copied the aesthetics of john and sherlock’s first chase together (the city as a map) and Sherlock said “we hung out all night I think she liked me and she has a cane and is suicidal but I’m gonna save her…that was a good night…” like okay how many ways are you gonna make everything about john

oh wow. she knew exactly what would appeal to Sherlock, how to intrigue him and make him want to help her. She tailor-made personalities to entrance John and Sherlock.

And of course Sherlock’s is just like John.

Sherlock: I need to know what to do about John
Ella, probably: You could give him a bit of time and then have a conversation like two grown ass adults
Sherlock: hmmmmmmmm
Mary from beyond the grave: you could GET WREKT and DIE
Sherlock: Yes, that’ll work

Mary and Mrs Norbury

What I find really interesting is the moment when Mrs Norbury asks to be allowed to live a peaceful life, and Mary shouts “After what you’ve done?”

They are such obvious mirrors for each other, both wanting to have a life after the crimes they have committed. But neither of them escape “Samara”. Mary wants to see Norbury pay for her crimes, which is so painfully ironic.

If Mary had let her go, Mary would still be alive. By condemning her “mirror” she leads to her own death, and its just so well written.

Just aaaAAAaaAaah I can’t believe this. Plus the TJLC shoutouts???? I’m so pumped for next week!!
