Why did Euros need to put Sherlock’s best friend down a well TWICE in their lifetimes? Did the first time not do it for her – and if not, why would she think the second time would be more fulfilling?

She was just waiting for Sherlock to have a friend again, I guess? Why did it take her like six years? If she can mind control people and has been there decades then why did she need Moriarty for anything, anyway?

Plus, Sherlock didn’t get her locked up, that was Uncle Rudy and Mycroft. What’s her problem?

she just needed someone for that sick violin duo

did i miss it throughout the series and the three godforsaken times i saw tfp, or did we never find out who sent moriarty’s “did you miss me?” at the end of hlv

we never find out anything!!!

It was Eurus. Eurus did everything unexplained in the whole show. She’s the actual solution to the Fall; she caught Sherlock on the way down and erased his memory. She was the hound Henry saw against the glass. She threw Mary at that bullet with super-human speed. She controls how bright the skull glows. She babysits Rosie.

“Hey There, John Watson” (a Johnlock-y rewrite of Hey There, Delilah)

Hey there, John Watson,

What’s it like back there in London?

I’m a thousand miles away,

But John, tonight I might come home

Just to see you

It’s such a foolish thing to do

But I need you

Hey there, John Watson,

I know you think that I died,

But in reality I faked it all

To help keep you alive

And now you’re free

Free from my mortal enemy

And free from me

Oh, what have you done to me?

Oh, my eyes can hardly see

Oh, what have you done to me?

Oh, what’s happening to me?

Now I can barely breathe

Hey there, John Watson,

I know seeing that was hard

But I did it all for you

And I’ll come home and heal

the scars so very soon

Can’t wait to come back home to you,

Sun to my moon

Hey there, John Watson,

There’s so much I didn’t say

If every single small deduction

Would still take your breath away

I’d say them all

Never again would I fall

We’d have it all

Oh, What have you done to me?

Oh, my eyes can hardly see

Oh, what have you done to me?

Oh, what’s happening to me?

I know I’ve been away awhile

But I can’t wait to see you smile

There’s so much you don’t know about my heart

That day we met in St. Bart’s lab,

The night I took off in the cab:

I’d never ask you for a better start

John Watson, I can promise you

That I’ll always be there for you

My universe will never be the same

And you’re to blame

Hey there, John Watson,

You be good and don’t you miss me

Two more years and I’ll be home with you,

Jim’s network will be hist’ry

Don’t be blue

You know I’m doing this for you

You can write up cases like you do

Hey there, John Watson,

Here’s to you

I’m missing you

Oh, what have you done to me?

Oh, my eyes can hardly see.

Oh, what have you done to me?

Oh, what’s happening to me?

I need you, don’t you see

It’s not a terrific recording, but all I have is a dinky microphone and a karaoke track, so whatever. But if anyone wants to re-record it, just make sure to credit the lyrics to me and send me a link so that I can reblog it. 🙂

Where is Rosie in TLD?

heartoftheconspiracy:

softjlc:

Something is up with Rosie in TLD, and her absence from the episode makes no sense at all. When asked about her, John hesitates says that she is ‘’with friends’’. That is a very vague answer, which is odd, as John seems to be pretty open and honest with his therapist. Also, what friends?

Rosie definitely isn’t with Sherlock, as he is drugged and John haven’t seem him for a long time.

Rosie definitely isn’t with either Mrs Hudson or Molly, as they both appear shortly after John’s statement on the above screencap.

What other friends does John have? And where is Rosie really?

“with friends” was also what was said about mary in the acd canon to keep up appearances, so i’m taking this to mean the baby is fake

Charlie is a Trans Lesbian

queer-until-proven-straight:

Charlie Welsborough is a trans lesbian who was planning to come out to her parents when she got back from traveling.

“Travel broadens the mind” is one of the first things we hear her say, on a pre-recorded video. Charlie would like her parents’ minds to be broadened, so that they would accept her rather than meet her with transphobia and homophobia. Charlie recorded this video of herself pre-transition, because she’d like to come out to her parents in person.

Sherlock immediately deduces that Charlie is trans. When he meets the Welsboroughs, he says, “I really am most terribly sorry to hear about your daughter.”

When Sherlock is corrected, he realizes that Charlie isn’t out to her parents yet. Not wanting to posthumously out Charlie, Sherlock doesn’t comment further – especially when he notices the Thatcher shrine and realizes all the misgendering and other forms of transphobia (and homophobia as well) that Charlie would have been exposed to from her parents. This, however, does explain why Sherlock is so petty to the parents. Sherlock hates homophobes and transphobes.

Sherlock describes Charlie’s plan, but doesn’t tell the parents the full story, instead describing Charlie the way the parents knew her. (Sherlock as an unreliable narrator would also fit with the rest of episode, especially if the alibi theory or some form of it turns out to be the explanation for TST.) Sherlock doesn’t explain that Charlie’s “surprise!” (complete with the rainbow across her face – why Charlie is not only trans but also a lesbian) was a plan to come out to her parents.
