10 Days of Breakfast Adventures.
I’m one of those people who regularly wake up late and skip breakfast, but I came across a picture of egg in a basket and wanted to make it for breakfast, so I challenged myself to wake up early enough to make it. It took a while to adjust to waking up earlier, but when I finally did, my internal clock set back and it became more routine to wake up early without an alarm clock. Here are ten pictures I took of breakfasts I’ve made over the course of this month.

Kent Rogowski: Love = Love, 2006-2008
Love=Love is a series of collages that were created using pieces of over 60 store bought puzzles. Although puzzle pieces are unique, and can only fit into one place within a puzzle, they are sometimes interchangeable within a brand. These puzzles were cut using the same die, but depict unrelated images. Using only the flowers and skies from each of the puzzles, I created a series of entirely new compositions by recombining the puzzle pieces. These spectacular, fantastical and surreal landscapes sit in direct contrast to the banal and bucolic images of the original puzzles. (artist statement)

“I am wearing a vintage jacket with a Madewell turtleneck layered with a vintage Harley Davison shirt, Calvin Klein pinstripe trousers, and my favorite white Doc Martens. My style is eclectic, and I tend to mix and layer a lot of silhouettes, patterns and textures. My current style inspiration are actually Bratz dolls from when I was a child! I tend to go for clothes that I feel comfortable in because if you feel good, you look good. My current favorites are green (especially that PANTONE green color of 2017), my friends and their personal styles, Rihanna, and 90s silhouettes.”
