when i talk to other gay people about my family i tell them the cold hard truth but when i talk to straight people about my family i’m like “yes they accept me so much they have never tried to force the lesbianism out of me and they threw me a coming out party :)” because i refuse to give them the gay suffering-themed drama they CRAVE when they ask shit like “so do your parents accept you???”
my friend’s sister is an animal behavioralist and said that the reason aren’t many lesbian penguins because girl penguins don’t traditionally do mating rituals and just wait for their mates to come to them so really there’s no difference between lesbian penguins and lesbian humans
